12:00 p.m. The Senate is now voting on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of William R. Evanina to be Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center.

11:40 a.m. Senator Wyden spoke against the Evanina nomination.

11:33 a.m. Senator Thune paid tribute to the healthcare workers and first responders.

The Senate meets at 11:00 a.m. Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #111, the nomination of William R. Evanina, of Pennsylvania, to be Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center.

At 12:00 Noon, there will be a cloture vote on the Evanina nomination. If cloture is invoked, the vote on confirmation would occur at 2:00 p.m.
