The Senate will convene at 9:30 a.m.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume post-cloture consideration of the nomination of Stephen Akard, of Indiana, to be director of the Office of Foreign Missions, with the rank of ambassador.

At 11 a.m., there will be three confirmation votes:

  1. Akard nomination to the Office of Foreign Missions;
  2. Nomination of Dale Cabaniss, of Virginia, to be director of the Office of Personnel Management;
  3. Nomination of James Byrne, of Virginia, to be deputy secretary of Veterans Affairs.

Following disposition of the Byrne nomination, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Michelle Bowman, of Kansas, to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

At 2:45 p.m., there will be up to nine nomination votes — three on motions to invoke cloture and six confirmations:

  1. Cloture on the Bowman nomination to the Fed;
  2. Cloture on the nomination of Thomas Feddo, of Virginia, to be assistant secretary of the Treasury for Investment Security;
  3. Cloture on the nomination of Jennifer Nordquist, of Virginia, to be U.S. executive director of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;
  4. Confirmation, Stephanie L. Haines, of Pennsylvania, to be a U.S. District Court judge for the Western District of Pennsylvania;
  5. Confirmation, Ada E. Brown, of Texas, to be a U.S. District Court judge for the Northern District of Texas;
  6. Confirmation, Steven D. Grimberg, of Georgia, to be a U.S. District Court judge for the Northern District of Georgia;
  7. Confirmation, Steven C. Seeger, of Illinois, to be a U.S. District Court judge for the Northern District of Illinois;
