6:53 p.m. The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13th. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to H.R.6938, Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026, post-cloture.

The Senate will recess from 12:45 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. to allow for weekly caucus meetings.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to proceed to S.J.Res.84, disapproving the rule submitted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services relating to “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; Market Integrity and Affordability” (Warner).
