The Senate convenes at 10:00 a.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Thomas Gaiser to be an Assistant Attorney General.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Gaiser nomination.

If cloture is invoked on the Gaiser nomination, there will be up to two hours of debate, followed by a roll call vote on confirmation. Upon disposition of the Gaiser nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Joseph Kent to be Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

If cloture is invoked on the Joseph Kent nomination, there would be up to 2 hours of debate, followed by a roll call vote on confirmation.
