12:00 p.m. The Senate met at 12 noon for a pro forma session with Senator Budd presiding. Senator Budd received consent to modify the previous order of Tuesday July 1st, 2025 with respect to the Senate reconvening.

The Senate will next meet on Monday July 7th 2025 for a pro forma session at 10:15 a.m.

Following the pro forma session, the Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday July 8th 2025. At 5:30 p.m. the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Preston Griffith to be Under Secretary of Energy.
