The Senate will convene at 12:00 p.m. and resume consideration of the nomination of Marvin Quattlebaum to be a US Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit.
Following resumption of the Quattlebaum nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15 p.m.
At 5:30 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Quattlebaum nomination.
Majority Leader McConnell has also filed cloture on the nomination of Julius Richardson to be a US Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit. The cloture vote with respect to the Richardson nomination will occur immediately following disposition of the Quattlebaum nomination. Both are subject to up to thirty hours of post-cloture debate.
Following disposition of the above nominations, the Senate is expected to consider H.R. 6157 [Defense-Labor-HHS-Education appropriations minibus].
