Senator Daines took steps to place on the calendar S-2089, a bill to promote clean energy sources.

6:19 p.m. Senator Cruz moved to table amendment #2690 to H.R. 719 and offer his amendment #2701 but the motion was objected to by voice vote. Senator Cruz spoke about the continuing resolution.
