  • S. 2036 – To suspend the pay for executive officers of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
  • S. Res. 245 – Designating the week of September 13th as National Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week.
  • S. Res. 254, S. Res. 255 and S. Res. 256 were passed en bloc.

S. 2035 – To provide compensation for federal employees affected by a lapse in appropriations, was read for the first time.

H.R. 36 – To protect pain-capable, unborn children, was read for the first time.
