The Senate convened at 9:30 a.m. for a pro forma session only. Senator Perdue presided, and no business was conducted.

The Senate will next convene for legislative business at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15.  At that time, the Senate will resume consideration of H.J.Res. 61 (the legislative vehicle for the resolution disapproving of the Iran nuclear agreement).

There will be a cloture vote at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday on the McConnell substitute amendment (#2640).
