- The Senate will convene at 9:30am and resume consideration of H.J.Res. 61 [the legislative vehicle for a Congressional resolution of disapproval relative to the JCPOA/Iran Nuclear Agreement]. The time from 10:00am until 4:00pm will be controlled in one hour increments, with the Republicans controlling the first hour, the Democrats controlling the second hour, and then alternating thereafter.
- Senator McConnell filed cloture on McConnell amendment in the nature of a substitute (#2640) and H.J.Res. 61 during Wednesday’s session. Absent a time agreement, a roll call vote on the first cloture motion would occur one hour after convening on Friday. However, by consent that vote could occur as early as Thursday afternoon.
