The Senate adjourned at 9:41 p.m. until Tuesday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m. The Senate will resume consideration of S.178, human trafficking, and Senator Cornyn will withdraw his amendment #1120 and offer amendments Cornyn-Murray amendment #1124 and Leahy amendment #301. 2 votes are expected beginning at 10:45 a.m., the 1st on Leahy #301 and the 2nd on Cornyn-Murray # 1124 (60 vote threshold).

10:07 a.m. Minority Leader Reid spoke in support of the pending deal to move the trafficking bill. Senator Reid also spoke about the pace of nominations.
10:04 a.m. Majority Leader McConnell indicated that a deal may soon be forthcoming to move toward passage of the trafficking bill. Senator McConnell said the confirmation vote would follow, perhaps within a day or two, on the nomination of Loretta Lynch to be attorney general.

The Senate will convene at 10 a.m. No votes have been scheduled yet, but votes are possible today.
After an hour of Morning Business, the Senate will resume consideration of the sexual trafficking bill (S. 178). The Cornyn amendment (#1120) is pending to the trafficking bill.
Also in order are earlier cloture votes on the trafficking bill.
The Senate will recess for weekly policy lunches from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
At a time to be determined, the Seat will vote on the motion to proceed to the first reponders bill (H.R. 1191). If the motion succeeds, Senator Corker will offer his Iran bill a a substitute.
