- On Thursday evening, Majority Leader McConnell achieved the following Unanimous Consent agreement: At a time to be determined, after consultation with the Democratic Leader, the Senate proceed to a vote on the motion to proceed to HR 1191, and that if the motion to proceed to is agreed to, Senator Corker or his designee be recognized to offer a substitute amendment that is the text of S. 615, the Iran bill.
- Majority Leader McConnell further stated on Thursday that the Senate is continuing to work on the trafficking bill, hope to vote on orderly list of amendments and passage next week, which would be followed by a vote on the Lynch nomination and consideration of the Iran bill.
