Senator McConnell also paid tribute to Marvin Simms of the Senate Recording Studio, who is about to retire.
The Senate will convene at 3 p.m. and will proceed at 4:30 p.m. to debate the Adam Walsh Reauthorization Act of 2016 (a child protection measure, S. 2613) for one hour.
At about 5:30 p.m., a Grassley amendment and a committee-reported substitute, as amended, will be agreed to by unanimous consent, and the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on passage of S. 2613, as amended.
