At about 6:08 PM the Senate confirmed by voice vote, en bloc, seven military officers to general and flag grades. The Senate then confirmed by voice vote the reappointment of John W. McCarter to the Smithsonian Institution’s Board of Regents. The Senate then agreed by voice vote to S.Res. 378, condemning Russian actions in Ukraine.

10:06 AM The Senate agreed on a voice vote to H.R. 2019, a bill to finance pediatric medical research for 10 years by eliminating taxpayer subsidies for the national political conventions.
