7:23 p.m.  The Senate has adjourned until 10 a.m. Thursday, November 15th. At 11:00 a.m. Senator Paul will be recognized to offer a motion to discharge  S.J. Res. 65, the Bahrain Arms Sales Resolution of Disapproval, followed by a 12:15 p.m. vote on the motion to discharge. The Senate will then resume consideration of the nomination of Michelle Bowman to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System with a vote on confirmation at 1:45 p.m.

At 5:30 pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to concur in the House amendments to accompany S.3021, Water Infrastructure.

ML McConnell also filed cloture on the following Executive nominations:
1.      Executive Calendar #640, Jeffrey Bossert Clark, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Attorney General
2.      Executive Calendar #641, Eric S. Dreiband, of Maryland, to be an Assistant Attorney General

The first cloture vote on the nominations would occur upon disposition of WRDA. If cloture is invoked, there would be up to 30 hours of post-cloture debate prior to a vote on confirmation. Then, there would be a cloture vote on the next nomination, with the same process until all three nominations have been considered.

6:40 p.m. By voice vote, the Senate has confirmed the nomination of Frank T. Brogan of Pennsylvania to be Assistant Secretary of Education for Secondary Education. The Senate agreed to take up, at a time agreed upon by leaders, the nomination of James Blew to be an assistant education secretary.
